Elynn Lorimer, self-described introvert and beloved CEO of Spatial, is no stranger to hard work.
Driven by a sense of curiosity and wonderment around how people interact with technology, she completed her studies at the University of British Columbia and set off to work around the world. Her career trajectory took her to Japan, Australia, Singapore and across the United States of America working for companies such as Zuji (a Travelocity company), Standard Chartered Bank, and more. After eighteen years working abroad, she returned to Canada to work as UX Consultant and Sr. Strategist for companies Bell and Nokia before taking an opportunity to build a company of her very own.
In this episode of The Brand Is Female, Elynn recounts her journey to becoming the CEO of our successful research and design company. Listen in to learn about her fascinating work history, her passion for research in driving evidence-based design innovation, why she chose to build a company from the ground-up, and how she strives to support the next generation of women in tech.
